Being commissioned by R2, the graphic design studio charged with Évora's bid for the 2027 European Culture Capital, the attention should be directed solely to convey their graphic narrative. The pavilion was conceived as a modular and reconfigurable wood frame enclosed in all faces by printed curtains, with sound and video.
Our design effort went into conceiving a system of steel connectors, powder coated in matte black, holding the structure in place while allowing to hold the textile envelope in place.
